Bored With Food? Get Creative!
There comes a time in every lifestyle where we eventually grow tired of eating the same thing repeatedly. I know that this is something that most people struggle with, especially when moving into a new lifestyle that they are unfamiliar with. One thing that I enjoy doing is making a list of the things I have eaten over the last month, looking over it then refusing to eat the same thing for the next 2 weeks. Now this doesn't mean you can't eat the same types of meat, or vegetables it merely means finding new ways to prepare them and finding new dishes.
An example of this would be say for instance if I had taco salad once a week for the last month, instead of taco salad for the next two weeks what I might do is have a taco spinach egg scramble. This would be taco meat, and spinach scrambled in with eggs, bell peppers, onion. Then you could top with tomato, olives, sour cream, avocado or guacamole all sorts of options really!
So the idea is just to make sure that every once in awhile you take ideas that you are used to, and find new ways to twist them up. This will not only give you a chance to expand what you eat on a daily basis, but it will also allow you to explore your taste palette more and allow you to make sure you get nutrition from a variety of sources instead of just getting it all form the same sources all the time. So don't forget to get creative and try something new!
